Title: The Mapas Project

Abstract: This is a collaborative digital collection of indigenous-authored Mesoamerican pictorial manuscripts with transcriptions, translations, and analysis of iconographic details. Scholars from Europe, Mexico, and the United States are participating. The project was launched with four Techialoyan manuscripts in the Kislak Collection, then held in the Library of Congress. This open-access website continues to receive more content.
